Picture 0012Picture 0031Hi all, healthy Allie reporting for duty! I am SO glad this cold didn't last very long. I'd like to thank Emergen-C, plenty of sleep and Zicam for this feat.

So I am wearing this dress for National Wear Red Day. I was planning on wearing my red Maggy London frock, but there was freezing rain this morning and a chance for a “wintry mix” throughout the day and well, this dress works far better with sturdy warm winter-friendly boots.

Burgundy merino shift from Banana Republic, tan “Bern” boots from Duo, tortoise necklace from a beach boutique, gold bangles from Ralph Lauren, gold hoops.

Hair was washed and conditioned, a bit of Jonathan Silky Dirt while damp and blown straight with a round brush. A touch more Jonathan Silky Dirt when dry for smoothness, shine and texture.

Makeup is L'Oreal True Match foundation in C3 as concealer, philosophy The Supernatural in Beige, Cargo Matte BeachBlush in Tenerife, Revlon ColorStay shadow quad in Neutral Khakis – the ivory over the lid. Lahses curled, a coat of Cover Girl Lash Blast in black with a coat of Imju Fiberwig over it. Slim line of Maybelline UltraLiner in black and on lips is Revlon ColorStay lipcolor in Real Raisin.

Tonight is going to be a slow evening – the weather is disgusting (it has not stopped raining all day) and we have a pretty busy weekend – company party tomorrow night (they host their holiday party after all the holidays so it's non-secular and at a time all can attend) and a Superbowl fête at my friends' house on Sunday. Will try to post pics throughout the weekend!
