Bright green puff-sleeved scoop neck sweater from Mossimo ($10 folks!), black stretch poplin trousers from Caslon, leopard peeptoe heels from BCBGirls, silver hoops and cuff. Can't wait to wear this top with a denim pencil skirt that is en route to me (thank you so much Fashion and Beauty Bargain Queens! Love you!).
Hair was washed and conditioned this morning, some Jonathan Silky Dirt added while damp and dried straight with a round brush and smoothed out with a curling iron quickly run through the strands, flipping the bottom. Looked super cool until I went outside and the humidity made me look like a Ramone again. I need to remember to do wavy/curly unless it's super arid out now that I have dark hair.
Makeup is L'Oreal True Match concealer in W4-5, philosophy's The Supernatural in Beige, no blush, Revlon ColorStay shadow quad in Neutral Khakis – the ivory in the inner corners and on lid. Lashes curled, two coats of DiorShow in black and a decently thick line of Maybelline UltraLiner in black on top lash line. On lips is Revlon ColorStay lipcolor in Burgundy.
Yeah, me and red lips are not a good combo. I felt very retro and sassy this morning when sauntering to my car. Got to work, reading documents and emails and I look down and there is red all over my desk. Look at my hands, it's on my hands. When I read, I often put my hands on my face/lips I guess and ended up smearing (luckily none on teeth or face, but just everywhere else). I have switched to Body Shop's Sheer Lipcolor in Sheer Strawberry, applying that over the leftover dark red lipcolor (this stuff REALLY is colorfast… when not rubbed around). Still a sassy combo…

Oh I bought that stuff after you first reviewed it. Amazing how it does get all over, but your lips still look perfectly applied. I also don’t get it on my teeth, but it makes me realize I chew on the end of pens when stressed. But you look gorgeous as always

The red lips look great. I’m surprised you had that problem with Colorstay. It’s the only lipstick that stays in place for me. I have the Red Velvet shade but really need something more blue based.
