Friday through Monday
Happy Presidents Day everyone! My company doesn't have the day off, but I took it off because I had a lot of errands I needed to accomplish before 6pm. So I will be busy today!
Friday I finally got back into the office.

Happy Veterans Day everyone! A big thanks to all of those who serve and have served in the armed forces. My husband is a veteran – eight years in the Navy. He used to take this day with his dad and best friend – they would go down to the Vietnam Memorial and then go…
As you can see from the picture, it’s sunny out again. Still warm, no need for a coat! Sort of ran late today. Woke up at 5:30 for yoga, did the quick shower, the contacts, the brushing and flossing of the teeth and application of a bit of Suave Professionals Healthy Curls mousse. Then the…
Black ribbed crewneck sweater from Chico’s, black Tahari suiting trousers, long gray necklace from Target looped three times, black Enzo boots. Hair is on it’s third day, blown straight where bedhead was. Makeup was done in a jiffy as that I lolled in bed too long reading for my Book Club. L’Oreal True Match foundation,…

My sister just uploaded the few pictures she took from our trip to Charleston, SC. It was a beautiful wedding, from what I remember in my drugged flu haze. Here’s some shots (and of course a picture of what I wore…) This is me before the ceremony. I am wearing my black Calvin Klein maxi…
Earlier this month, Karl took me away for a weekend to celebrate my birthday. He planned the trip, letting me know where we were going but we didn’t have a really planned itinerary. He also invited our friends to join us. Knowing him and the location, I felt there would be activity – hiking, walks,…
Love the sweater. Your hair looks great too! You have me thinking of ordering a pair of duo boots.
Alli, you are always too cute!
I have a present for you on my blog!
Looking good, Allie! Love this outfit.
Thanks, Allie. Tried them out on the snow and ice here and took them to the cobbler’s for treaded soles. Now they are perfect for winter weather!
This is great look! You look great rocking the boots over jeans look!
love the browns and pretty gold jewelry here.
Nope they don’t have the best tread on them, but I waterproofed them and they have a better sole than most of my other shoes (and I think equal to sneakers) so they have become my winter go-to boots.
Hope you are enjoying your day off, Allie. How did your duo boots do in the snow? I ask as I just got a pair of Bern in black and am a bit hesitant to walk on the snow and ice in them since they don’t have a deep profile on the soles.
Thanks for any tips!
LOVE that sweater on you!! And you are rocking those jeans. Glad to see you have been surviving the DC snow.
Oh dear! I wear my yoga pants and ribbed tanks and cardigans out to do errands. I do I do. Bad girl.
I love your blog and seeing your outfits.
