Oh this weekend was GLORIOUS! After a ton of snow and sub-zero temps it was nice to be able to take a break from the parks and lug-sole boots! HSN sent me this jacket from their Spring Fashion Collection, The Fashion Edit.  I originally thought it could work with the dress I wore last week, but it fits me more like outerwear than an accent piece.  With the warmer weather, I could finally wear this jacket with a pashmina at my throat and be comfortable!

This jacket is quite lovely, very soft buttery leather and luxe details. It comes in six colors, regular and plus sizes, and the price is amazing for such quality.  One thing I love about HSN is how beautifully things are packaged.  No stuffing everything into a plastic bag, pieces are wrapped with tissue, sealed in stiffer plastic cellophane.  This jacket came on a padded hanger that was wrapped in tissue and all the gold details also wrapped in tissue.  I understand it's hard to tell what is true and fiction when a blogger receives free merchandise from a brand, but I am seriously impressed with HSN and they quality and brands they offer, and am glad they reached out to partner with me.

This post is not sponsored by HSN. They were kind enough to send me this jacket in hopes I could style it in a previous outfit post. I felt it looked best on its own and chose to wear it in this manner and feature it on the blog.

  1. Urban chic done very well 🙂 I love this from H to T! The berry lip really pulls it all together and makes it feel very modern.

  2. I love this look! It’s so casual and still polished. I always feel awkward in stripes…I love them in the store but when I get home…ugh. But the pattern play makes this outfit!

  3. Allie, I’m curious about the sizing on the jacket as it looks amazing (and HSN has it on flex-pay right now for $40/month, which always suckers me in). Do you mind sharing what size they sent you and how it fits? It looks great on you and this new mom has a closet full of clothes that don’t fit and could use something cute to wear for spring!

    1. If anything the jacket runs big. This is an XL and it fits like outwear, and the sleeves are pushed up because they are too long on me. I think I would have been happier with an L but I’ve learned if in doubt size up if I don’t know the brand, especially if there isn’t time for exchanges before a post goes live. A L likely wouldn’t accommodate a thicker sweater, but it would have fit better in the shoulders and arms.

      1. Thanks so much! I think I’m going to pull the trigger on this tonight. Now I just need to decide on a color…

        1. That for my busty frame is a good reason I have an XL, it zips comfortably over my chest at this size. It’s a stand collar but not too high or tight, I did it without feeling like a turtle. There’s great seaming so it curves in at the waist and doesn’t jut out but gently flares at the waist so it fits over a rear and hips nicely. It is built for a female form.

  4. It’s a great outfit with a beautiful jacket. Whereas all the colors are good,my favorite is the color you picked. You’re right, it is a good price for such a nice leather jacket. I wish I could afford it.

  5. Your “core” always looks very smooth when you’re wearing jeans and a tee shirt (unlike mine). Do you wear any kind of shape wear??

  6. I’m always a sucker for the stripes and leopard combo. And that looks like a very nice jacket. I’ll have to check it out.

    1. Yep, it was weird with the dress, but I’m psyched because I’ve wanted a coat this color for a while but they’ve always been too yellow or something for me. This color is lovely and I love leather soft enough to push up the sleeves!

  7. I love that jacket! I love this whole look. You look fantastic, and I want to copy the whole darn outfit.
