I can't believe that just Friday I was wearing boots, wishing the weather was actually cool enough to warrant them, and today I am wearing a coat and considered gloves! Oh DC weather, you always keep us on our toes!Ā Speaking of coat… this was a major score at TJ Maxx.Ā I saw it on Nordstrom and put it on my wish list hoping it would drop further on sale, and then found it for almost half of the Nordstrom sale price!Ā I have plenty of heavy winter coats, but didn't have a mid-weight coat.Ā This is perfect for this time of year and come early Spring, and I like that it's not plain black and is a length that works with dresses as well as pants.
Very quiet day in the office so I dressed down.Ā I planned on wearing this outfit yesterday (with this scarf) but ended up not going out.Ā I had to recover from Virgin FreeFest (details in future post), Emerson had a bit of a meltdown, and life was just too hectic to add to it.Ā I got in a much-needed nap and we as a family snuggled on the couch under an afghan and watched The Lorax.
