Quite a rush this morning – Emerson had her first dentist appointment bright and early and I had to be dropped off beforehand. Thank goodness for dresses on such days – quick and easy outfit!
Had a really lovely weekend. As you know from my last post, my birthday was on Saturday. Saturday night, my friend and I had a sleepover at my sister's. Sunday, my husband and I met with a potential client for his business, and then we had a “date hour” where my mom and sister watched Emerson while we dashed to a nearby bar for a pound of steamed shrimp, a couple beers, and some time together. Last night we caught up on episodes of Fringe (really feel this show is starting to jump the shark which makes me sad), had leftover carrot birthday cake, and went to bed at a reasonable hour. Couldn't have asked for a better birthday!
