Busy day at work, but hope to have another post up later about my evening last night. Met a fantastic woman and have a fantastic memento from the event!  By the way today is the first time in WEEKS where it has really felt like winter.  Very cold, but dry and sunny and all in all a beautiful December day!

Ooh lovely! Red + black + leopard = perfect combo!

  2. December 9, 2011 / 6:14 pm

Allie, I think this is my favorite outfit you have ever worn! It helps that I love any combination of red, white and black (they were my wedding colors, even). You look fantastic!

Not only is this outfit aesthetically pleasing, but it is incredibly flattering on you. The skirt style and length, the shoe style, the jacket style and length, the shell underneath, the opaque tights – perfect, perfect, perfect!

LOL thanks Sal! If you’re ever in the DC area (or me in Minneapolis), we’ll have to do a shopping trip together!

  5. December 9, 2011 / 3:40 pm

Allie, I would seriously steal more than half your wardrobe if I could. That skirt is perfection!

  6. December 9, 2011 / 3:02 pm

Fantastic — what a great combo — red, black, leapard. Stunning.

  7. December 9, 2011 / 1:24 pm

Red!  Why don’t I own more red?  Love it!

I can’t believe those shoes are from Target! They’re so cute! And I love the full red skirt!

Love this outfit! That skirt looks great on you – and the pop from the shoes is great too.

Beautifully composed outfit!  You’ve got your black and white–but you’ve also got your poppy skirt and leopard print.  The lip color looks great, too.

I like how cheerful this outfit is. Makes me think of Dorothy from the Wizard of OZ (but in a really cool way)

Thank you, welcome, and best wishes with the baby! Feel free to check the archives, I had my little one in January of 2009 and had outfit photos from the end of maternity leave forward. 🙂

This is one of my favorite outfits I’ve seen. Totally coming back to this after birthing this baby for some inspiration.

Love the pleats in the pretty colored skirt and pairing it with your animal print shoes was genius!  You’re wearing one of my favorite looks:  a cardigan with a no fuss top underneath.
