Picture 004Picture 003Clients in the office today. As much as I desired to arrive at the office in my cropped Old Navy yoga pants, I had to look presentable!

And BTW, I don't check out my belly every day and haven't taken any belly pics, do know it's bigger (as well as my breasts) but haven't really thought about it until I put on my blue Gap cotton shirt that ties at the waist (this one) and well.. it doesn't fit! It's stretching across my bust, the tie slides up under my bust which causes a touch of exposed belly to show below. So not cute. And this skirt I considered getting rid of because it had gotten too big from weight loss and getting a bit stretched out with washing and wear. Glad I didn't because it now is a slim fit! Guess I am growing faster than I thought! 🙂

  1. Allie,

Just wanted to welcome you to the your body “is now public domain” phase of pregnancy….I don’t think I have every experience so much unwanted commentary on my appearance, experiences of pregnancy, total strangers touching the bump, etc. than when I was pregnant. I was by the way pregnant twenty years and 16 years ago so I think this issue is not going to go away. Wear what you want, that makes you feel good and try not to let other peoples comments and issues take away anything from this wonderful time of baby growing.

  2. I haven’t been by in awhile so I had to say CONGRATULATIONS!!! Wahoo!! That is so incredibly exciting!

It is bizarre… in the past 3 days 2 close friends have announced their pregnancy… Something was in the air 12 weeks ago, I’m sure of it!!

  3. hehe…I totally grew faster than I thought, too, especially in my boobs! I went from a 34C to a 36D in no time and had to buy bigger tops from the beginning. Luckily, there are some pretty stylish places now so maternity wear is no longer frumpy! Hope you’re feeling okay…
