I love clothing like this that can be put together practically with your eyes closed. I had a hard time getting up this morning, Emerson was being fussy (maybe she knew she had her two-month pediatrician appointment today), and I just didn't budget my time well. Black pants and solid colored sweaters are such an easy go-to!

Tomorrow I have a meeting at a client site so tonight I will have to go through what actually fits this bod and see what can look a bit more professional. Possibly my Banana Republic Outlet ponte jacket with the pants I am wearing today… we shall see if it works or if I resort to another knit/knit combo with just a more interesting necklace or scarf.

  1. I will be writing about my makeup routine soon. 🙂

I do like my sweaters from Lands End. they do… okay in the wash and dryer (which is what I am doing). Far better than most sweaters though they have softened and faded a tiny bit. Not quite as dressy. Before I have bought them and washed them in the machine on delicate and then line dried and they stayed great.

  2. I really like your blackberry Lands’ End sweater. (Also love your blog in general).

How do you wash and dry your sweater? Can you wash it on regular and tumble dry? Or do you wash it on delicate and hang to dry?

Just curious, and have you been satisfied with the quality and wear of the sweater?

    Thanks!

  3. I’m so glad you’re back to regular posting!

If you get time, could you post about your makeup rountine and why you wear different things on different days? I’m just starting to experiment with makeup and so far you haven’t led me wrong(I LOVE the Nars Orgasm blush), so I’d love to hear more about what you use.
