Pashmina International
– I just received this oyster colored pashmina from Pashmina International yesterday and HAD to wear it today! You all know how much I love scarves, especially pashminas. This is 70% cashmere and 30% silk; it is lighter weight than the 100% cashmere pashminas I have from Nordstrom, yet still has good weight.

The pashmina drapes really nicely (as you can see from the pictures), and has a flat weave that catches the light, showing the beauty of the fabric. The color is called oyster, it looks to me like a light version of French Vanilla ice cream (a pale crisp ivory). The price is really great, and regularly (like today) the site offers free shipping. They also have 100% cashmere pashmina shawls that are cheaper than I usually see in department stores and luxe merino wool shawls.

Pashmina International also supports the Pink Ribbon Breast Cancer fund, and donates 5% of every sale that includes a pink pashmina to the International Breast Cancer Research Foundation. How cool is that?
