Orange merino scoopneck from Marshall’s, denim trousers from Gap, black booties from Sudini, black coral necklace from Mexico. Hair was washed and conditioned, pureology thickener added and dried/straightened with the Croc Wet-to-Dry straightening iron (check out my review of this beauty at Wardrobe Oxygen). Parted hair on opposite side which really showcased a red part… Continue Reading Tuesday
I ask you to please forgive the quality of these pictures. It was an early day at work so no full-body shot by the hubby, and I swear each time I went into the office bathroom there were people in there. Very few coworkers know I have a blog (I don’t hide it, I just… Continue Reading My Wardrobe Today – Friday
I’m all for a wardrobe of workhorses; pieces that fit, flatter, are versatile and relatively timeless. However, I also find it important to update your closet each season with a couple new trends, fun colors or prints to add your personal style and keep your closet from being boring. Boden is one of my favorite… Continue Reading Updating The Closet for Spring with Boden

Have you ordered anything else from Lands End Canvas? I am wanting to order a dress from there, but am a bit worried about the sizing. Lands End stuff can be really big! If you have, is it similar?
This is the scarf:

It is 27″ square. I fold it on the angle – one point to center, opposite point to center, fold again (like you do when you make a square scarf a headband). End up with a 3″ wide band. Tie a single knot in the center of the strip, then two on either side. The tips/ends I tie a very tiny knot at the tips just to close the loop.
OK, Allie, I don’t understand the 3 knot scarf trick…..it’s cute as hell, but what size was the scarf and where did you place the knots??? Sorry, but I need more visual help. Thanks! Glad to have you back, BTW. Missed you while you were “on sabbatical”.
I love your scarf idea! that is so cute! And you look so great today!
Cute idea for the scarf – I’ll have to try that out! Love the heels!
I have no idea how you stand in those shoes.
I love your trick with the scarf! very cute! you look great! 🙂
