Teal merino bateau neack sweater from Banana Republic (this fall), black pencil skirt from Old Navy (this fall), faux tortoise shell necklace from a beach boutique (this summer), gold bangles from Ralph Lauren (this summer), leopard pepptoe heels from BCBGirls (this past spring).
Hair is washed and conditioned, a bit of Jonathan Silky Dirt added and the plan was to let it air dry. The day is very cold and damp so it was taking forever so I used a paddle brush and dryer to speed it up, then used a round brush to smooth some places and the curling iron to staighten the bangs.
Makeup is L'Oreal True Match concealer in W4-5, philosophy's The Supernatural in Beige, Cargo Matte BeachBlush in Tenerife, Revlon ColorStay shadow quad in Neutral Khakis – ivory in inner corners, khaki on lids, chocolate in crease and along lash lines. On lips is L'Oreal Endless in Real Raisin.

I wouldn’t think to pair brown shoes / jewelry with a black skirt, but it looks fab and modern on you. I need to rethink my box!

Cute! I have a black pencil skirt on, too, today. I also have on my ex-husband’s pale pink button-down shirt tucked into it (V. Sharon Stone wearing Phil Bronstein’s shirt at the Oscars) and some black patent leather peep toe pumps.

Feel confident you will grow tired of me telling you how great you look in blue. Also, noticing you are creating a lemming for me. I want longer necklaces–they look so good on you. I always think they hit me in a wierd way. I am going to try and see if I can pull it off.

Love the pencil skirt on you, it really highlights your figure. I want one! But having trouble finding one that’s not too high-waisted, which makes my butt and hips look enormous…
