This weekend I was away dealing with a few things that are too uninteresting to explain, but entailed wearing hiking boots, a black pinstripe suit from Ann Taylor Loft from 3 years ago, paint-splattered jeans and a very warm fleece from L. L. Bean. No pics taken.

Today is far more interesting for I am in some of my favorite garments – black merino shhift from Banana Republic (this fall), my tan Bern boots from Duo (this fall), silver and black necklace from Brass Plum for Nordstrom (this fall), silver ciff (1997), silver hoops (this summer) and under the boots, “Mind the Gap” black knee-highs my sister got me on her last trip to London.

Hair was washed and conditioned yesterday and allowed to air dry. Today it got the Black and Decker treatment – ironed on the Silk setting. Then I felt my bangs looked bad so I trimmed them a bit (sorry Kathleen!).

Makeup is L'Oreal True Match concealer in W4-5, philosophy's The Supernatural in Beige, Cargo Matte BeachBlush in Tenerife, Revlon ColorStay shadow quad in Neutral Khakis – ivory in inner corners, khaki on lid. Lashes curled, two coats of DiorShow in black and a nice like of Maybelline UltraLiner in black on top lash line. On lips is Revlon Super Lustrous lip gloss in Glossy Rose.
