August 021August 022Hmmm… last night I felt I was channeling Morticia Addams. This morning without makeup I felt very Lily Allen. All in all I am liking my new raven head and can't wait to play with it more!

So last night I went to my stylist Kathleen and asked for dark hair “dark brown, almost black.” I was over my summery auburn highlights and wanted something more edgy. I was thinking Patti Smith meets Rachael Ray's new look in the Dunkin' Donuts ads. Talk about polar opposites, but believe Kathleen understood what I meant.

Teal cotton babydoll top from Old Navy, black stretch poplin trousers from Caslon (yeppers, same pants as yesterday. Who's gonna notice?), gold necklace from Express, gold bangles from Ralph Lauren, leopard peeptoe heels from BCBGirls.

Hair is second day. I brushed it out from what Kathleen did, then hit a few pieces that had bedhead with my curling iron, and a touch of Jonathan Silky Dirt on the ends and part of the bangs.

Makeup is L'Oreal True Match concealer in W4-5, philosophy The Supernatural in beige, Nars blush in Orgasm, Pop Beauty's shadow set for brown eyes – the yellow and beige shades blended and over the whole lid. Imju Fiberwig mascara on curled lashes, Maybelline UltraLiner in black on top lash line, on lips is Nars lipstick in Dolce Vita.
