I love supporting women-owned businesses and local businesses so when Ruth Barzel reached out offering a giveaway of some pieces from her jewelry line I couldn't resist. Ruth Barzel is a Northern Virginia-based jewelry designer who crafts pieces that are unique, but so very wearable. Fashioned with semiprecious stones, pearls, fine wire, and a variety of sterling silver and gold-filled chains, Ruth creates her jewelry line in her home-based office and sells it in boutiques around the DC area, in Michigan, and even Dubai. For those in none of those locations, her entire collection is also available on Etsy.
This is not the first time I have featured Ruth Barzel Jewelry on my blog. Her collection is delicate yet makes a statement. Ruth hopes that her jewelry will add a bit of beauty to the lives of all who wear it and I think it does exactly that. Ruth really cares about those who choose to wear her jewelry and hopes the pieces are worn for a long while. If your jewelry breaks due to a defect in materials or workmanship, contact Ruth and she will fix it at no charge. If it breaks due to wear and tear, she will also fix it for a small fee.
I am so excited that Ruth Barzel is offering all three pieces featured in this blog post as a gift to one Wardrobe Oxygen reader. The Long Gold Chain Necklace is 41″ in length with a clasp so it can be worn long, doubled, or even tripled or wrapped around your wrist. Made of matte goldtone brass, the necklace is tarnish resistant and lightweight. The Multi Strand Bracelet is mixed gold-tone brass and aluminum chains with an adjustable length for all wrist sizes. It too is lightweight and tarnish resistant. The Abalone Teardrop Earrings are about 2″ in length and when you order you can choose from sterling silver or gold filled wire earwires. And yes international readers, you too are available to enter this giveaway!

This post is sponsored by Gap but all thoughts and words are my own. I recently visited Gap and felt like a kid in a candy store. Adorable jackets, tons of stripes (we all know how I adore stripes), and fun jeans including their new Women’s Skimmer Jeans. Named because they skim the ankles as…
Happy Friday before Three Day Weekend! I am so excited for the weekend – Sunday our friends are having their annual Tiki party, and Monday I will be heading to my town parade with family and friends. The rest of the weekend is pretty open and I couldn’t be happier about that! Top – Ann…
Sweater – Vince CamutoPants – Ann TaylorPumps – Nine West (similar)Bracelet – JewelMintPurse – Forever 21Lipstick – Revlon ColorStay “Top Tomato” I hate shopping in Forever 21. Just walking past the store gives me hives – it’s always packed with people, messy rounders, loud music, super bright lighting, and always smells weird. However, my local…
Oh gosh, I am on a red kick this week aren’t I? It’s always been a color I loved, but I only like certain shades in my wardrobe. I’ll be drawn to a bright fire engine red or a cherry but hardly ever wear it. But when the red has some warmth I find myself…
Black scoop necked cotton short-sleeved sweater with empire waist from Old Navy, black twill cuffed walking shorts from Gap Outlet, black leather thong heels from Mossimo, silver hoops from The Icing, silver cuff. Hair is second day, I tried straightening it with the iron, but then didn’t have time to fiddle much with it so…
Reader Missy recently contacted me regarding the bag company Dagne Dover. She saw there was a pop-up shop taking place in DC and asked if I may be attending and if so could I report back on what the bags were like in person. See, Missy has had the Dagne Dover Midi Tote on her…
Her whole collection is so classy and everyday wearable -that simple long gold chain is perfect! My favourites are those abalone earrings and the sapphire teardrops. Her pearl pieces are stunning, but I already have so many.
Agree with so many that you have modelled the jewellery to perfection with that simple sweater in such a flattering colour.
Thank you for including your international readers in this one! (Fingers crossed…)
What a great collection! I really liked her abalone earrings and turquoise earrings. I also liked the mixed metal pieces. Thanks for featuring this artist.
I love how you styled the jewelry (which is lovely) with a bright sweater. You look warm and happy. It’s a very refreshing look after a weeks seeing people in grey and somber tones for winter.
I LOVE the mixed metal necklace! I used to have a similar one from Baublebar but it tarnished and made me smell like metal, so I had to get rid of it. I would love to replace it with a higher quality version and might have to pull the trigger on this one from Ruth Barzel!
I wasn’t familiar with this designer, thanks for featuring her. I love statement earrings that are still appropriate for everyday wear at work and these are beautiful!
First, what an endeavor all of these giveaways must be! Thanks!
Second, I’ve loved her jewellery since I first saw it in your blog. The bracelet you’re wearing is my favorite.
Thanks for featuring Ruth’s lovely jewelry! I love that the beautiful pieces can be worn by women of all sizes, including petites. Love the bracelet and necklace!
I love stacking Ruth’s cord bracelets with her simple gold fill chain bracelet. The quality of her jewelry and her great customer service are fantastic!
Those pieces are beautiful & are the type of jewelry I always seem to fall back on–classic, tasteful, and can really be worn for many tears. Great picks Ali!
Love the piece of jewelry– fingers crossed
