They are a very relaxed fit so if in doubt, size down.
Lands' End always has the Supima Cotton Crew in stock in black, white, a bunch of rich saturated colors, and usually a few stripes and other prints. This tee is available in Regular and Petite XS-XL, Tall S-XL, and Plus 1X-3X.
Universal Standard Garรงon Tee
Made from 48% Peruvian Cotton, 48% Modal, and 4% Elastane, the Universal Standard Garรงon Tee is an elevated version of the classic pocket tee that has great drape while remaining opaque. The subtly curved hem tucks in and stays in place, but also looks more elegant untucked than a classic T-shirt.
Universal Standard offers the Garรงon Tee in nine different colors and prints; however, Universal Standard is known for discontinuing old colors and introducing new ones, so if you see a color you like, don't hesitate. This tee, along with everything else at Universal Standard, is available in sizes 4XS (00-0) to 4XL (38-40).
Universal Standard Tee Rex
The Universal Standard Tee Rex remains one of my favorite t-shirts. I love the silky refined finish, the drape, the opacity, the way the white tees stay white even after literal years of being laundered. The sleeves are a hint longer than most tees, which I like on my arms, and the curved hem tucks in and stays in place.
Available in crewneck, V-neck, long-sleeved, and a few in petite size, the Tee Rex from Universal Standard comes in white, black, and a few colors and stripes that occasionally change from year to year. Again, like everything at Universal Standard, this shirt is available in sizes 4XS (00-0) to 4XL (38-40).
I always find the best reviews from all of you, as we may be very different but we have similar views on quality, needs for a grown woman's body, size inclusion, fit, and durability. I love the J Crew Factory girlfriend tee. Itโs a relaxed fit that is flattering and has a nice vertical back seam detail. It comes in solids and stripes and wears beautifully.
I second Eddie Bauer tees. Another good option, similar to Eddie Bauer, is Orvis. They have good, sturdy tees that last through multiple washings. I love mine.
I have a few of the LL Bean tees, but I prefer the Soft Stretch Supima tees. They have several different styles that wash and dry without wrinkles, and have a nice drape to them. They come in regular, petite, and plus sizes.
I also love the Eddie Bauer v-necks. This is my third summer wearing them (I think I have every color!) and they look like new.
I’ve recently become a convert to the Life is Good tshirts. They have hundreds of “sometimes cute, sometimes cringy/dated” graphic versions, but also solid color basics. The V neck heavyweight version is my perfect 100% cotton tshirt, not too tight or too loose, completely opaque with a good weight.
I have several Eddie Bauer Favorite Ts. When the description says “slim fit”, I order 1 size up. I’m happy with the fit, as it shows the curves without clinging.
