I have been hearing about ABLE Clothing for a long while. A U.S.-based sustainable fashion brand founded in 2010 that offers clothing in sizes XXS-3X, along with leather bags, and jewelry, ABLE is especially popular with Millennial influencers. But would it work for me, a middle-aged, short, soft, midsize woman? I decided to write an…
The Birthday Cold hit on Tuesday; it hurt to shower, and it hurt more when I slammed the hairdryer into my left temple. Not functioning too well… Black cami from Banana Republic, black cashmere puff-sleeved sweater also from Banana Republic, Old Navy “The Flirt” bootcut jeans, black flats from Naturalizer, studs from Diamond Nexus Labs….
Hmmm… last night I felt I was channeling Morticia Addams. This morning without makeup I felt very Lily Allen. All in all I am liking my new raven head and can’t wait to play with it more! So last night I went to my stylist Kathleen and asked for dark hair “dark brown, almost black.”…
Jacket: Halogen (similar) | Sweatshirt: c/o CAbi | Jeans: Gap | Shoes: Fitzwell (similar) | Necklace: c/o Kristin Biggs, Stella and Dot | Bracelets: Nordstrom (similar), had forever | Lipstick: Revlon Matte in Wine Not | Bag: Banana Republic via eBay (similar) CAbi recently contacted me and asked if I’d like to style a few…
Camera battery needs to be recharged, so full-length pictures came out all weird and blurry. This is my dress from Muse that I bought last year. They have similar dresses, same cut but different prints available at Nordstrom and also recently at Overstock (and remember to first visit Ebates first to get money back if…
Not a lot of pictures. A week of long days and early mornings. Wednesday I wore… I think I again wore my teal merino shawl collar sweater from Banana Republic with my black pants from Semantiks. Thursday I didn’t feel well at all, coming down with a cold. I wore my gray flannel trousers from…
I love this jumpsuit, but have a question. I’m trying to decide how to ask it without sounding rude…I always wonder about how things go down when nature calls when you are out and about in a one-piece article of clothing…I just never want to be that close to naked in a public restroom….
I unbutton the top button and hold it around below my waist. Yep, I’m down to my bra in a bathroom, but that doesn’t bother me especially since this one is so easy to pull up and cover, even if the button isn’t yet secure. But that is one negative about jumpsuits.
It’ll be fun to wear once the snow melts!
I see that on the web site that the pants are shorter on the model. Did you consider having them taken up?
I find pants that are shorter on me aren’t very flattering. Walking on my toes as a kid, I really built up my ankles and shins. While a shorter length will feature the slimmest part of most women’s legs, the opposite is for me. I found their denim cropped jumpsuit had the same length on me and I really liked it and wore it so much this past fall (and likely will this spring and summer) so decided to leave this one the same length! 🙂
That red looks so good on you!
Thanks Michelle!
That is the cutest jumpsuit. It is so you. I’m a big fan of Marimekko and O’Keefe, too, and I can see the connection to the jumpsuit.
Thank you!
