How do you deal with the bulk of a sweater, especially when your body is soft and curvy?
1
focus on the front
Make sure the sweater is lined up correctly with the center of your skirt, jeans, or pants. Then tuck from center to side seams, smoothing to ensure it doesn't gather.

focus on the front
For this look, I only tucked the sweater to the front belt loops. The sweater's waistband folded over to blouse the back for a clean look.
Most of us curve in at the small of our back and curve out on the opposite side. By having the bit of bulk in the back of your look, it balances everything nicely.
2
gather in back

3
respect the weight of the sweater
