Style Inspo & Sale Alert
I have a two-post campaign with Talbots; the Talbots linen review from earlier this week and a summer capsule wardrobe being published at noon ET today. Today Talbots has 40% off one item and 30% off the rest of your order (exclusions apply). For today's post, I had free reign and began making a capsule wardrobe… and then realized I used some items not part of the sale. So I made another one you'll see later today. But this is the original one I made:
Shop the collage: linen caftan | linen shirt | striped tank | green tank | sneakers | print shorts | green skirt | necklace | earrings | striped shirt | green sandals | white linen pants | pink sweater | tote | green blouse | green bag | sunglasses | scarf | hat | striped shorts
I thought this was too pretty not to share! And you'll see some of these items will be in the capsule I have publishing later. I own them, I am a fan!
And I have updated my Memorial Day Weekend Sale Roundup post with some new deals that have come in since first publishing.
And I know many of you have contacted me regarding Everlane being bought by Shein. There are enough think pieces, the world doesn't need another. I shared my thoughts on Threads, though:

See/Hear/Read
We watched Yellowstone, we watched Landman, we watched The Madison, so of course we were going to watch Dutton Ranch, the latest Yellowstone spin-off. Not written by Taylor Sheridan, it still stars Beth and Rip and takes place in Texas, where they went to start new.

It's typical Beth and Rip; he is of little but poignant words and so patient with her, she is making friends and enemies every step she takes and her eye makeup is always smudged.
Their “ward” Carter is still played by Finn Little, who is now a 19-year-old also trying to start over and so far I think isn't making good choices. The show also stars Annette Bening as a tough-as-nails ranch owner with two adult sons who help run the business, and Ed Harris who plays a veteran veterinarian.

The Rip/Beth relationship is really what sold Yellowstone, and is what is going to keep me watching Dutton Ranch. Marshalls (the spinoff featuring bay bro Kayce Dutton) is a corny hot mess and I haven't been interested in the prequels, but I am looking forward to the next episode of Dutton Ranch.
For Your Entertainment

I don't believe in stereotypes, for fashion brands and for music genres. With so much polarization in our country right now, I know some have immediately written off Country, feeling that if one wants to tour with Kid Rock, they all likely do. But there are some artists, just like back during W's administration, that respect the music, do it well, but still have their own mind and their own political beliefs. And one is Willow Avalon.
The Chicks walked so Avalon could run. Both have been outspoken, and both have written songs about the same topic. However, they are very different artists and I think y'all will like Willow Avalon's latest single, “Hypothetically Speaking” ft. Kaitlin Butts.
