Blazer: MYNT 1792 c/o Gwynnie Bee | Tee: Armorlux (gift from reader) | Jeans: Gap | Shoes: Ivanka Trump “Indicon” | Necklace: eBay | Bracelet: Nordstrom (similar) | Watch: Citizen c/o WatchCo | Scarf: Nordstrom (last year on clearance – similar)

One thing I tire of quickly is jackets. I can get the coolest blazer with the trendiest details and after a couple months I am so over it and regret how much I spent on it. This is why I love being a member of Gwynnie Bee. I can try out hot trends, new designers, seasonal colors and fabrics without buyer's remorse. This blazer from MYNT 1972 is a hot color this season (perfectly matches my oxblood nails that I had done just this weekend!), the shorter cut and puffed sleeves are trendy, the velvet is luxe and can easily be dressed up and down. While I wore it in a more casual look for this shoot, I think this jacket would look fabulous with a white blouse and trousers, or with a turtleneck and colored denim tucked into riding boots. I love that I can keep this jacket as long as I desire, or send it back after one wear… and even borrow it again later in the season!  If you haven't tried Gwynnie Bee yet, what the heck are you waiting for? Hot trends, hot brands, and great styles for women size 10 and up! Sign up now with this link and try out the program for 30 days free!

Do note that I receive a commission on each account that signs up to Gwynnie Bee with my specific referral link or mentions me upon signup and stays past the trial period. However, I continue to promote Gwynnie Bee because of the great fashion and that it's a brand that wants to make fashion fun and attainable for cusp and plus sized women.

  1. Ooh, I love that blazer! I am very into the burgandy colours that are fashionable this year as they really suit me. I’d definitely get a lot of wear out of that blazer. I’ll keep my eye out for something similar…

  2. Squee! Exchange the heels for flats and the blazer for a cardigan and that’s exactly what I’m wearing today.
I’m hoping that I’m rocking the combo just as much as you are 🙂

  3. Alison, I LOVE your blog! I am a size 14-16 woman ans although I am much older than you, your style is similar to mine. I have recently bought 4 scarves (Gap Outlet, Ross for Less and Franchesca’s) because you look so classy in yours. I tend to be a “jacket and tank” or “jacket and sweater” gal since my office is always cold. Gwynnie Bee sounds great and I will sign up today. Keep on bloggin’, girl!
