This Saturday we had a cookout to celebrate our newly married friends. They had a very small, intimate wedding so the bride's father had an event at his house to include extended family and more friends. Great selection of good food, lots to drink, and plenty of friends.

Sunday we did a lot of chores around the house, and then went to our friends' house for another cookout. This was a very casual affair – I wore my black nursing tank from Gap, my Gap Essential jeans and flip flops. Hair was second day, blown out a bit with round brush but left a bit to its self.

This week I am on Staycation so I will only be posting if I head out or do anything worthy of photographing. 🙂 Chat with you soon!

  1. You guys are too funny!

After seeing this picture I said to my husband, “OMG do these jeans make me looka s though I am wearing a diaper?” He said it was the position but it didn’t look like that all the time. BUt yeah, it freaked me out and if it DID look like that all the time I would want a friend to let me know.

Almost didn’t post the picture but I didn’t have another one. 🙂

  2. Sarah, I completely agree with the intention and sentiment- I was just questioning the use of the ‘c’ word on a (public) blog!
    Have a good day.

  3. Madeleine…of course I would. Sorry if I rubbed you the wrong way, it wasn’t my intent. After all, I said I’d “pull you aside.” Sometimes we ladies need our friends to tell us if our outfit went amiss. The shirt is awesome, hair and makeup as usual is flawless. She’s just *undergrown* the pants, which isn’t a bad thing after having a baby!
    Have a great day, all!

  4. PS Oh, I just read an article about this website in my favourite weekly mag and had to check it out. Her style is not mine and makes me feel about 90 years old (I am 32!) but I LOVE the idea behind it and her inventiveness and quirky eye, and thought that you and the othe readers might enjoy it too:

  5. Sarah R, if you were my friend in real life, I would hope that you could find a more tactful way of getting your point across.
Allie, that green really does zing on you- loving the colour. And I don’t know why you are stressed about your hair; it could be the extra attention you are devoting to it paying off, but it looks fab!
    Enjoy your time off!

  6. Oh dear. Oh dear, oh dear oh dear. I sound like Piglet, right?
    Love the green top. Perfect.
Those pants? Please donate them. You’ve lost weight, you lucky gal, and those pants are giving you an…umm…unfortunate camel toe. I hate saying it!!! But if we were friends in real life and I saw you wearing those, I’d pull you aside and tell you. And as your internet follower, I have to say it.
