This morning I was running late because I was playing with my netbook. I had my iTunes on a different computer and transferred it over to this one, so I was organizing music, deleting duplicates, gathering new music. Our Bonnaroo passes arrived in the mail last night and I can't stop thinking about going to the festival in just a couple of weeks and this is a way to get ready (no road trip is complete without a great playlist!). What new music are you loving? Would love to buy some new stuff and would like to hear what inspires you lately!

So anyway, lost track of time and put on a tried and true piece – this great shirtdress. I got this belt a couple months ago and have yet to wear it; I think it will also look great with my green and purple silk dress, and this fall would rock with a crisp white shirt and pencil skirt.  Now that I have it, I am stalking it for when it goes on sale… think the Vachetta color would be fantastic with brights like purple and teal!

  1. Ooh – and for oldies-but-goodies on a road trip – Red Hot Chili Peppers. I love just about everything they do but Love Rollercoaster is a great road trip song.

  5. Oooh thanks downloaded & will check out!

And hey there Missy, I am a DD and short waisted and I wear these dresses!  I just buy petite, ensure there’s some spandex and put a safety pin or two between the buttons at the bust; then belt it so no one can tell were my REAL waist is! 🙂  If I can do it you can too!

  6. I have a Toshiba, it’s just under $300 on Amazon and love it:

I just put iTunes on it, though my music is all on an external hard drive.  I bought a 2GB to install but it doesn’t work however with 1GB I can surf, write for my blog, watch Netflix OnDemand, basic stuff without problem.  It has Windows Starter so you can’t change the wallpaper, have starter versions of Office which has ads, but it gets the job done and is sturdy!

  7. I LOVE that belt!

An off topic question, if you wouldn’t mind…  Which netbook do you have and does it work well for iTunes, browsing, etc?  I’ve wanted one for over a year now and see myself buying one hopefully in the next year.  It’s hard to decide amongst them though.

  8. That belt looks killer on you! I’d love to see it in a high contrast outfit where it really stands out.

  9. Your are looking fabulous!  I’ve been following you for along time, and just wanted to let you know you are looking great.  Healthy eating and exercise just doesn’t come to me natrually (LOL) so I know the hard work your putting in!  Way to go!
