Summer Lovin’ Friday

It was Casual Friday, I didn’t really care about my outfit. It was a long week and I am tired of my between-weather wardrobe. I dressed more for the beach than for the office, but it kept me cheerful all day!

Black scoop neck knit tee from American Apparel, olive cotton cargo skirt from J. Crew, Ivory cable-knit hooded belted longer cardigan from Express circa 2000 I believe. Skinny necklace of wood and glass beads, looped twice around the neck – from Claire’s. Beaded thong sandals with tiny wedge wood heel from Seychelles.

Hair was curly and very cute. I used my Suave goodies and my new Frizz-Ease curl spray that gives lovely soft ringlets. Makeup was L’Oreal True Match foundation, The Body Shop stick concealer, Chanel pressed powder, The Body Shop’s Brush on Bronze for color. On eyes I used the Warm Shimmer Cubes from The Body Shop – the peach on my lids. I then took the matte brown brow powder from Maybelline and used it as a shadow in the crease and along the lash lines. Two coats of MAC X mascara on curled lashes and a touch of Lancome’s Juicy Tubes in Exposure on the lips.
