Totally agree with everyone else. You are such a great model, and you bring clothes alive. That, combined with your honest assessment of what clothes are worth it, make this site such a resource.

  • Alison April 19, 2018

I like the look and am intrigued by the sizing variety!

  • Patricia April 19, 2018

You look fabulous. I just wish the dress came in my size. I can’t complain; too often my plus size relatives have few choices.

    • Alison Gary April 19, 2018

I’m surprised it doesn’t, NY Collection makes most of their clothes in all sizes but yup, this one isn’t in straight sizes on the website 🙁

  • Neti April 19, 2018

  • Lee April 18, 2018

I agree with BA above–the picture of you in this dress is SO much better than the Macy’s picture. Honestly, I’d look right over that dress if i only saw it on-line. You look great!

I came here to say exactly what Lee said! Your styling made me want to try this dress!

      • Alison Gary April 19, 2018

thank you! That’s the goal with infuencers. I’ll admit I was skeptical when I ordered based off the photo and description but now I’m a fan of this brand!

    • Alison Gary April 19, 2018

      Thanks so much Lee!

  • BA April 18, 2018

So this is the second time (the first being the camel colored coat) that an item from Macy’s looks SO much better on you than the picture on their website. They should seriously use your pictures (compensating you for them, of course). The website also doesn’t show this in black?

    • Chris April 18, 2018

      BA,

I agree completely. Allie is a great stylist as well as a model. I have been enjoying Allie’s blog for quite a few years now and I have seen what you are talking about numerous times. Allie just knows what looks good!

    • Alison Gary April 19, 2018

Thank you so much! And I guess the black is sold out? It was available in both green and black yesterday morning. I hope it comes back it’s a good dress!

  • Lorena April 18, 2018

Great look – very polished and not complicated. I have no idea what you have on your face (make up) but your skin looks healthy and flawless!

    • Alison Gary April 19, 2018

Thanks Lorena! I’ve been using Cicapair from Dr. Jart in place of foundation and it has transformed my skin. For this post I did add a bit of concealer and DiorSkin Airflash mascara but not a lot.

      • Sue April 19, 2018

Love Cicapair! I got it based on your recommendation and it’s likewise been amazing for my skin where I need less makeup now and it covers the redness and dark circles I get without looking fake. Love the apf too. Just wanted to say thanks!
