I was so excited to get my latest Gwynnie Bee box – so much sparkle and fun for fall! This tank was one of the pieces and it's reason # 4,521 why Gwynnie Bee rocks. I love sequined tops, but I don't have the lifestyle for wearing them on a regular basis. However, with a Gwynnie Bee subscription I can get fun sparkly tops like this just for a bachelorette party, a weekend away, or even an upcoming holiday party. This top comes in a variety of colors too; I love how the black isn't plain, it's iridescent with lots of green that shows up in the light.

If you wear a 10 or larger and are intrigued by Gwynnie Bee, I encourage you to read my review of the company here. And if you want to sign up, the next few days are the time to do it!

Do know I get a commission for each person I refer to Gwynnie Bee, but I have chosen to partner with them because I really do believe in this company, their service, and commitment to their customers!

  1. I say YES! to sequins during the day!!! This is a great balanced look and would be a perfect Casual Friday outfit. And that blazer fits you like a dream… ~Sarah

  2. This is a great outfit. You have convinced me to try out boyfriend jeans. I have pretty narrow hips but humongous thighs. Basically, jeans only seem to fit around my thighs if they are huuuge everywhere else. These will probably work well for me. And you styled them just the way that I would.

  3. Allie, I LOVE this outfit! I always like the juxtaposition between a pair of perfectly faded jeans and something a bit more on the classy side like a blazer. Tres chic!

  4. Is there anything like Gwynnie Bee for someone who is a size 8? I love the idea but I wouldn’t fit the sizes that are offered through this company.

    1. Not that I know of. Gwynnie Bee created it because women 10 and up have the hardest time shopping in malls and standard stores. They plan to focus on those sizes, hopefully going into petites and more variety. It is a great idea though for other sizes, someone should set it up! 🙂

  5. I’ve actually signed up for my one month because of you! I will say: I love the ability to try on & get a feel for the clothes without having to buy/return all the time. There are a few pieces I love enough that I’d like to buy them (hint hint: Gwynnie Bee– at least let us know WHERE we can!). That being said, I find two downsides: 1) enough of the clothes aren’t my tasted, especially when 2) you need at least 12 items in your closet at all times. It’s a real challenge for me to fill up those 12 right now!

I know you had mentioned that you can “vote” on Pinterest on what you’d like to see them get, but I’ve yet to find that board… I wish I could though, because if I were to keep with it, I’d want to know that I’m paying for pieces I’d wear!

      1. “I can really tell that they are listening to their subscribers and adapting accordingly!” Yes! I’ve noticed that in the few short weeks I have been on it, and I do appreciate that a LOT. So many businesses lose sight of their customers needs and wants…. so I love that they’re doing that.

        1. I have the same problem with not having enough to fill up my closet. And then it’s frustrating when something I put in as a filler ends up being what I get.

I wouldn’t recommend Gwynnie Bee – at least at this stage of its development – as a resource for party or travel wear as you never know what you’re actually going to get. So you might be desperate for that cocktail dress to wear this weekend and end up with a casual sweater.

But it is great for mixing up my work and weekend wear!
