A gorgeous day in DC today! I am trying to coax my hair into being curly for the warmer months; not loving how it looks today but the more I allow it to do it's own thing, the more it grows into nice curls instead of Kip Winger-ness. It has already calmed down a bit since this picturte was taken.

Speaking of pictures, got word that they are re-sending my camera today and I should probably receive it tomorrow! Good thing, because these pics were taken with my father-in-law's camera and it is awkward and not a good fit for me. Yay!

I must say, this stuff is AMAZING. My stylist suggested pureology and I was hesitant because of the price but it’s worth it. The purple bottles is what I use – the shampoo smells like ylang ylang, the conditioner is minty and makes your scalp tingle. My color lasts twice as long and even with how often I color and use heat tools, my hair doesn’t look damaged. Look online and you can occasionally get it cheaper or buy in bulk for savings. Also Target sells it cheaper than salons.

Hi Allie – cute outfit! I never think of navy and black going together – but your outfit makes me think again!

How do you like pureology shampoo and conditioner? I always consider picking some up, but hate to spend the money if it isn’t worth it. Thoughts?

Hello oh lovely Budget Chic, you look fab today, BTW!

A Canon, just like you! I love that brand and have been totally pleased. My issue was with the distributor, not the brand (and honestly, the distributor wasn’t bad, it was just bad luck). I canceled that order and ordered a new one from Amazon and will arrive on Thursday. Can’t wait! 🙂

    Allie,

Great outfit the shirt is a winner!! Love this look on you. Did you get your camera back yet, I’ve been reading through your blog and I notice you had camera problems and now shipping problems! I just got mine back today. What brand did you get?

When you pair these tops with a skirt you look your best. The criss cross over tops look very flattering on you , professional yet feminine.
Love the look. Keep up the good work.

Oh, by the way, thanks for having the guts to put yourself out there for others. It really does take some self sacrifice to do what you are doing and it is appreciated.

I love pairing the black pencil skirt with a Navy shirt. It really works!

Love this with the red pumps as well. You look fabulous!
