Didn't take many photos at all. Sorry guys.

August 0015Saturday started off with yoga class. I wore these new knit separates I got from C.enne.v Couture (review to come). Sillky-soft black jersey short-sleeved hoodie and cropped drawstring pants with a white ribbed tank from Old Navy underneath.

Afterwards, we had a few friends over. The plan was to have a couple beers then walk down to the town's Labor Day festival. Rides, games, live music… well friends showed up late, people felt tired and sluggish so it became a spaghetti and movie night in our living room instead.

Sunday I went to breakfast with my husband. I wore my faux-wrap matte jersey dress from Maggy London (shown here) with my black leather heeled thongs from Mossimo, hair air dried and random, just mascara and a bit of lip gloss.

That day my husband was away at a bachelor event, so I had the house to myself. I did a bit of cleaning, wrote some, walked the dog, got some new music for my iPod and puttered around outside. Very nice. Went to dinner with my mom and then we walked down to the town center for the festival. I wore my teal cotton babydoll top from Old Navy with my Joe's Jeans and brown stacked flops and my necklace made of seaglass. Hair still random, makeup still minimal.

Monday we went to a cookout at my husband's cousin's house and I wish i took a picture. Hair looked great – washed and conditioned and a bit of Jonathan Silky Dirt. slightly straightened/dried the bangs and let the rest air dry and it looked really nice – messy in a good way. Wore my black cotton wrap shirt from Ann Taylor, olive ribbed tank from J. Crew, my black city shorts from the Gap Outley, black heeled leather thongs from Mossimo, green and silver bead necklace from… I think Burlington Coat Factory, silver hoops and cuff bracelet. Makeup was Body Shop bronzing powder in Light, Pop Beauty's shadow set for brown eyes – the light khaki on lids and the dark khaki in the crease and along lash lines. Lashes curled and two coats mascara, on lips was Maybelline Shine Seduction Glossy Lipcolor in Blushed Bass.
