I was especially impressed by the Derek Cardigan line of Designer Eyeglasses, which feature very on-trend styles but not a single frame is over $100. Derek Cardigan’s vintage inspired line of eyewear is on trend, statement making, yet still classic. Derek Cardigan eyeglasses were even featured in Flo Rida’s “I Cry” music video and Alicia Keys' “Brand New Me” music video!
Knowing from my glasses buying experience in December, I have a big noggin. Seriously, most glasses look strange on me because of the size of my head. I knew the size of my current glasses and used that as a guide on Coastal.com. Since I already own traditional tortoiseshell frames, I was looking for statement glasses. I really fell for Derek Cardigan’s 7003 frames, which are an oversized Wayfarer style in black. I love the math symbols on the Derek Cardigan frames, a very fun touch.
I ordered my glasses late on a Wednesday and when I came home from work on Friday, my Coastal.com order was waiting in my mailbox! The Derek Cardigan eyeglasses came in a hard black patent case and came with a glasses kit of mini screwdriver, spray cleanser and a chamois. As for the glasses, well I am a fan.
The Coastal.com ordering process was quite simple. I called my eye doctor for my prescription, and entered it into the site. My doc didn’t provide me with my Pupillary Distance (PD) but Coastal.com provided simple instructions for me to figure it out on my own. I couldn’t be more pleased with the entire process and will be ordering from Coastal.com again in the future… and they very likely will be another pair of Derek Cardigan frames!
