I didn't feel like a lot of makeup this morning. It was raining cats and dogs (still is) and it was dark and cold. I tried to compensate with a cheery orange scarf…

Striped Sweater Dress – Ann Taylor LOFT (no longer online)
Necklace and Bracelets – Ann Taylor (no longer available)
Silk Scarf – Banana Republic (no longer available)
BootsDUO Boots
Bag – J. Crew via eBay (quite quite old)

And this is my natural hair. Yesterday I washed and conditioned it. Then I scrunched it up with an elastic and took a bath with the hubby (baby was at my mom's house and the kid we were watching headed home). Then I took out the elastic and took a nap. Woke this morning and finger combed and a bit of dry shampoo to add some heft. I swear I was born in the wrong decade – my hair makes a nice looking crimped body wave/metalhead hair, and when dried with a dryer, it loves to part in the middle and feather.

  1. You look pretty. I don’t know if you are experiencing this, but you look as if you are coming into your own, as far as being comfortable in your skin. There is a certain confidence that shines through. It’s beautiful and genuine…

  2. That is an awesome wallet! About two Xmases ago DH got me a black Coach wallet (but not leather). I use it, but I don’t love it. I know it cost alot, and I’d have rather picked it out myself, but it was the thought that counts, right? Anyway, I like yours much better. Thanks for sharing.
