My Wardrobe Today – Tuesday

It's raining, it's pouring… you know you're a blogaholic when you stand in the rain for your outfit photos! And you know your husband loves you when he stands in the rain to take your blog photos!
I have to give my 50,000th shout-out to the Revlon ColorStay shadow quad in Neutral Khakis. If I could never buy another eye shadow again, I would be okay if I had this palette. A matte ivory for highlighting, a golden khaki that is a great warm neutral for lids, a deep chocolate for contouring (or use wet as a liner), and then an olive. I buy olive colored clothing just so I can get all matchy-matchy and wear an olive smokey eye with this shadow. Oh, and the color really DOES stay. I will be heading home with just as smokey of an olive eye as I did leaving the house today. Fabulous!

That cargo jacket is awesome and I love the pop of color at your neck!
Isn’t that stuff amazing? I find if I keep reapplying a balm over it (yesterday it was Burt’s Bees tinted lip balm in Hibiscus), the color stays even richer and the lips look soft. Amazed that I didn’t have to slough off my entire lip to get it off at night, just a swipe of a Neutrogena cleansing wipe! And this shadow quad is THE BOMB, I also have a gray/navy combo that I like too, but the colors aren’t quite as versatile.
Yes – I use either Burt Bees or Softlips to keep it moisturized instead of slicking on more of the gloss overlay. I ended up getting a different quad – I really like the staying power, so I think that I’m going to go back and get the khaki as well.

This is my favourite of your outfits over the last couple of days. Also (and this will sound really random, but) you can really see in your legs that you’ve lost weight. Looks great!

I will definitely be trying the eyeshadow – I have to thank you profusely for recommending the Colorstay Overtime lip color. It stayed on through lunch and dinner and an apple – there was still enough color staining my lips at 9:30 last night that I had to remove it with make-up remover. AND my lips didn’t feel dry, gross, and flaky. This stuff is awesome! And on sale this week at Walgreen’s!
