This was a hectic morning, and with the rain I didn't want to wear a skirt or any nice shoes. This is a standard weekend look for me so I grabbed it for a quick getting dressed. Also no time for posed pics, this is me trying to gather up Emerson into the car when all she wanted to do was jump in puddles.

You know how your hair just KNOWS when you're getting it cut and it's on its best behavior? Well my hair didn't get the memo. I am going to the salon today after work and I think my hair is just as excited for the appointment as I.  Not sure exactly what I will do… think a bit darker, and take these grown-out straight bangs and make them sideswept.

A few posts ago I mentioned I had a fitting for an upcoming media event for Presenza – a line of apparel for women with large busts.  Well that event is next week!  I am really excited for it because I really believe in this company.  As a woman with a large bust, it's frustrating to have to get shirts tailored to fit properly, to rely on safety pins and camisoles to look appropriate at work, and live in stretchy knits.  These tops from Presenza are so well-made, adjustable to your shape, and versatile.  I'll be sure to report back after the event on how it went!

  1. This is such a cute post! Sometimes the candid shots end up being the best. Your little girl looks so cute in her rain gear.  Love the second photo with you laughing 🙂
Oh, cute outfit too! The yellow sweater is perfect for a rainy day!  Heather

  2. WOW, I love this idea!!!  I usually just go with the “oh  heck, I’m just inappropriate. I have a big chest. Deal with it.” route…  But, this is much better.  Thank you for sharing!
