Thursday was Bring Your Emerson to Work Day…
Emerson loved the sushi rice and we also gave her some miso soup, and some avocado and cucumber rolls.
We came home, my sister came by a little later with carrot cake (another favorite) and we hung out for a bit until I was glamorous enough to fall asleep on the couch prior to 10pm.
It was a good birthday!

Adorable! My baby (now 16) loved going to sushi restaurants with us. To this day, she loves eating raw, cubed tofu — go figure! Emerson is such a doll!
