I was so excited to receive this necklace from Kristin Biggs, my Stella & Dot stylist, and was thrilled to also see she added this ring to the order. I rarely wear rings because of my metal allergy, but this ring is adjustable so I can wear it loose and it has yet to irritate and is just too cute! As you can see, Emerson loves the packaging – they came in the cutest boxes with plenty of padding, which Emerson says are “marshmallows.”

Do you know about the clear nail polish trick for jewellery? I’m a bit allergic to some metals too – a coat of clear nail polish means I can wear earrings that would otherwise leave my ears red and itchy. It doesn’t work quite so well on chain necklaces of course, but might help the inside of your pearl ring.

The necklace IS pretty fab, and I love that it’s a variety of pearls – not all ivory! And Emerson HAD to wear her “fancy shoes,” and decided aqua was the perfect accent color (she has aqua bike shorts on as well!).
