As soon as I saw this necklace I loved it and knew my sister would hate it. My sister is a strong woman… a strong woman who hates bugs. So much so, several years ago I got her a bug vacuum as a gift. However I think this necklace is fun, and Emerson LOVES playing with the wiggly legs.

So what are you weekend plans? Tomorrow night my sister and I are taking our mom to see Chuck Berry at the Howard Theater. I am so excited, I mean, CHUCK BERRY! He's 86 and still rocking! Sunday I will be assisting my husband on a photo shoot, but otherwise I hope to have some R&R in between events.

  1. I’m with Debbie – that’s the grossest accessory I’ve ever seen. :p (Sorry – I have a bug phobia.)

  2. I’m not a fan of insects either, but I think your necklace is fun!  I must add that I used to go for small pieces in my necklace choices but, since reading your blog, I’ve become more “daring” and have chosen ornate pieces with lots of stones and more showy!  You’re an inspiration and brought out my creative side!  🙂

  3. Love those shoes!  I have to agree with your sister on the whole bug thing but I think I’d make an exception for that necklace 😉

  4. The first thing I thought when I saw the first picture was “ugh, I hate that necklace” and then you had to show a close-up! Thanks for the Friday torture, Sister 🙂
