Some times outfits just look better in person. Today is one of them. Actually, right now my hair is in a messy updo, and I have had two strangers stop me on the street and ask me where I got this top and I feel a bit like a corporate rockstar. Seriously, it's super cute in person – floaty and sheer with fun swirls and birds, v-neck with two buttons (I unbuttoned all of them) and it comes with a camisole. The bottom has a pleat to make it even more drapey and floaty. And where did I get this top?

Gwynnie Bee. Yep, same place I got that really fabulous wrap dress. Gwynnie Bee is like Netflix for fashion – Friday I packed up the pieces I had gotten from them in my first shipment, and yesterday I got another box of cool clothes. No need to dry clean, no need to go to the mall, pay a reasonable monthly fee and change your pieces as often as you like or hold on to a piece as long as you wish.  Dresses, tops, skirts, and even cardigans and blazers – try a new silhouette, get bold with a print or find a new wardrobe staple. You can read more about Gwynnie Bee here.

  1. I signed up at Gwynnie Bee per your offer and this is one of the items in my closet! Also got the Igigi print wrap dress that is so great on you. Can’t wait to try! Both look better on your than on the models. If you ever get tired of your day job, they should hire you!

  2. Love the top, just can’t get on board with the jeggings yet, not a good look for me. I want to try Gwynnie Bee, but I am torn, I really do not need more clothes but of course I want them and the book I am reading on the excess of stuff in our lives isn’t helping me any 🙂

  3. I think you look great Allie! How do you like the jeggings? I’m a size 8/10, but I have very big calves from genetics. I have a hard time buying jeans. I never wear skinny jeans, straights don’t always fit right, and I get tired of wearing bootcut. I never considered jeggings, because I catagorized them with skinnies. Have they worked well for you?

    1. I can actually do jeggings because of the high Lycra content. These are super stretchy so they are very comfortable, the ones I have from Karen Kane are also super comfy. When they are more like jeans, I can’t do them, I feel as though I am wrapped up like a mummy. I also like NYDJ for straight because of the large amount of Lycra, and their straights aren’t so narrow and don’t emphasize my calves like regular straights. 🙂

  4. You’ve been “rockin’ the rock star” look for a couple of days now and I’m diggin’ the trend! I like the concept too of wearing something without a major commitment. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve bought something only to give it a wear or two and then it hibernates in my drawer or back of the closet.

  5. Thanks for the link. I have already signed up for an invite (using Wardrobe Oxygen’s name as my source). Maybe this will help me get over my fear of pattern.
